I BELIEVE IN AUTHENTIC BEAUTY

It's my lifestyle - I try to lead a conscious life, focus on naturalness, surround myself with people who are important to me and do me good, try to go through life open-mindedly, pay attention to myself & my health by doing sports regularly (but also enjoy the phases where I don't feel like it and I prefer "Netflix & Chill") and eat as consciously as possible (and I always count burgers or sweets among them). I don't do all this because it's trendy, but because I like doing it. That's how I am. It's my authenticity. 

Two months ago, I was invited to Berlin to take part in the launch of a new hair care series with a holistic approach that reflects my lifestyle. The name says it all: AUTHENTIC BEAUTY CONCEPT. 

It is a comprehensive line of hair care and styling products that does completely without silicones and parabens and uses natural, vegan ingredients, thus completely convincing me.

With the aim of creating a hair care range that reflects one's own attitude and feels authentic, the 30-part product range was created through the collaboration of hairdressers, fashion stylists, photographers, make-up artists and people who share the same values: authentic, natural, simple.

Es ist mein Lifestyle - ich versuche ein bewusstes Leben zu führen, setze auf Natürlichkeit, umgebe mich mit Menschen die mir wichtig sind und mir gut tun, versuche weltoffen durchs Leben zu gehen, achte auf mich & meine Gesundheit, indem ich regelmäßig Sport mache (genieße aber auch die Phasen, wo mir mal nicht danach ist und ich lieber "Netflix & Chill" fröne) und möglichst bewusst esse (und dazu zähle ich auch immer wieder mal Burger oder Süßigkeiten). Das alles mache ich nicht, weil es im Trend liegt, sondern weil ich es gerne mache. So bin ich. Es ist meine Authentizität. 

Vor zwei Monaten durfte ich in Berlin beim Launch einer neuen Haarpflegeserie mit ganzheitlichem Ansatz dabei sein, die meinen Lifestyle widerspiegelt. Der Name ist Programm: AUTHENTIC BEAUTY CONCEPT. 

Es handelt sich dabei um eine umfangreiche Linie aus Haarpflege- und Stylingprodukten, die komplett ohne Silikone und Parabene auskommt und auf natürliche, vegane Inhaltsstoffe setzt und (mich) damit komplett überzeugt.

Mit dem Ziel eine Haarpflegeserie zu kreieren, die die eigene Einstellung widerspiegelt und sich authentisch anfühlt, ist die 30-teilige Produkt-Range durch Zusammenarbeit von Frisören, Fashion Stylists, Fotografen, Make-up-Artists und Menschen, die die gleichen Werte teilen, entstanden: authentisch, natürlich, einfach. 

SAMSUNG QuickDrive - MY ADORABLE NEW HELPER

"Adorable" - yes, I'm actually talking about a washing machine. Since three weeks I own the SAMSUNG QuickDrive "WW8800M". Why a washing machine can delight me in such a way, I want to tell you in this article. 

Anyone who reads my blog knows that I like the Samsung brand very much because every product (TV, soundbar, smartphone) has convinced me so far. So when it came to "new washing machine", I quickly came across this brand - not surprisingly. 

My personal lures with this model were the functions QuickDrive, SmartControl 2.0 and AddWash. Little did I know there would be more functions exciting me. But one after the other.

The Basiscs

The "WW8800M" has a capacity of 10kg and at 1600 rpm is very powerful and incredibly quiet. 

My daily routine is that I usually wash my clothes in the evening or on weekends (the SmartControl 2.0. function has already partly changed that, but more about it later). It is therefore definitely an advantage if the washing machine does its job as quietly as possible - for me and my neighbours' sake. That's where the digital inverter technology comes in. It uses magnets to ensure low noise levels and high performance at the same time. 

And as if that wasn't enough, it consumes less energy than a universal motor and offers exceptional durability. Washing performance, energy efficiency and longevity and reliability are not only certified by Samsung, but also by independent institutes such as Intertek, Hohenstein and SLG. Well done! 

My wardrobe consists of - let's say - 85% black clothing. My laundry room is not particularly bright. In the past, this always meant that I overlooked individual washed parts in the washing machine and left them behind (which I then (panically) looked for later in the whole apartment). Not any more! How smart! Samsung has simply integrated a light into the washing drum, which is switched on automatically as soon as you open the washing machine door or the AddWash™ door.

"Adorable" - ja, ich spreche tatsächlich von einer Waschmaschine. Seit drei Wochen gehört mir nämlich die SAMSUNG QuickDrive "WW8800M". Warum mich eine Waschmashine derart entzücken kann, will ich euch in diesem Beitrag erzählen.

Wer meinen Blog liest weiß, dass ich die Marke Samsung grundsätzlich sehr gerne habe, weil mich bis dato jedes Produkt (TV, Soundbar, Smartphone) voll und ganz überzeugt hat. Beim Thema "Waschmaschine neu" bin ich daher auch - wenig überraschend - sehr schnell bei dieser Marke gelandet.

Meine persönlichen Köder bei diesem Modell waren die Funktionen QuickDrive, SmartControl 2.0. und AddWash. Ich hatte ja keine Ahnung, dass mich noch weitere Funktionen begeistern werden. Aber mal der Reihe nach.
Die Basiscs
Die "WW8800M" fasst 10kg und ist mit 1600 U/Min sehr leistungsstark und dabei unglaublich leise.
Mein Alltag gestaltet sich so, dass ich meine Wäsche meist abends oder am Wochenende wasche (die SmartControl 2.0.-Funktion hat das zum Teil bereits geändert, aber mehr dazu weiter unten). Es ist daher definitiv von Vorteil, wenn die Waschmaschine ihre Arbeit möglichst leise erledigt - mir und meinen Nachbarn zu liebe. Da kommt die digitale Inverter-Technologie zum Tragen. Sie sorgt durch Magnete für eine geringe Geräuschentwicklung und gleichzeitig leistungsstarke Performance.
Und als wäre das nicht schon genug: Sie verbraucht dabei weniger Energie als ein Universalmotor und bietet eine außergewöhnliche Langlebigkeit. Waschperformance, Energieeffizienz sowie die Langlebigkeit und Verlässlichkeit werden nicht nur von Samsung bescheinigt, sondern zusätzlich auch von unabhängigen Instituten wie Intertek, Hohenstein und SLG. Well done!
Mein Kleiderschrank besteht aus - sagen wir mal - 85% schwarzer Kleidung. Mein Wäscheraum ist nicht besonders hell. Das hatte in der Vergangenheit immer zur Folge, dass ich einzelne, gewaschene Teile in der Waschmaschine übersehen und zurückgelassen habe (die ich dann zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt in der ganzen Wohnung (panisch) gesucht habe). Jetzt nicht mehr! Wie smart! Samsung hat doch ganz einfach ein Licht in der Waschtrommel integriert, das automatisch angeht, sobald man die Waschmaschinentüre bzw. die AddWash™-Klappe öffnet.

THINGS TRAVEL TIP: Condominio Monti, Rome

The eternal city has been on my bucket list for half an eternity. Why I always gave priority to other destinations in the end, I can't say. Recently I learned from a friend of the Condominio Monti, a charming boutique hotel opened in February this year, that I fell head over heels in love with based on the pictures. Reason enough to (finally) book a plane ticket to Rome.

Die ewige Stadt stand seit einer halben Ewigkeit auf meiner bucket list. Warum ich schlussendlich immer anderen Destinationen den Vorrang gegeben habe, kann ich gar nicht sagen. Vor kurzem habe ich durch eine Freundin vom Condominio Monti, einem entzückenden, im Februar diesen Jahres eröffneten Boutique-Hotel, erfahren, in das ich mich anhand der Bilder Hals über Kopf verliebt habe. Grund genug, um kurzerhand (endlich) ein Flugticket nach Rom zu buchen.

A PERFECT COMPLEXION FOREVER

DIOR takes the word "Forever" very seriously when it comes to foundation, because both "Dior Forever Skin Glow" and "Dior Forever" (velvet matt finish) ensure the perfect complexion for a full 24 hours - flawless and without a mask-like effect, because the pigments adapt to the skin tone. The formula is enriched with active ingredients such as rose hip extract, which reduce the pores. This means the pores are permanently reduced every time the foundation is applied, and isn't that what we all want? But it also has other characteristics that are usually only attributed to a face cream: it moisturizes the skin (with the help of pansy extract), counteracts irritations, smoothes the skin and protects it from UVA and UVB rays with SPF 35.

DIOR nimmt das Wort "Forever" sehr ernst, wenn es um Foundation geht, denn sowohl "Dior Forever Skin Glow" als auch "Dior Forever" (velvet matt finish) sorgen ganze 24 Stunden für den perfekten Teint - makellos und ohne maskenhaft zu wirken, denn die Pigmente passen sich dem Hautton an. Die Formel ist mit Wirkstoffen wie Hagebuttenextrakt angereichert, die die Poren verkleinern, das heisst mit jedem Mal auftragen werden die Poren nachhaltig verkleinert, und ist das nicht das war wir uns alle wünschen? Anyone who follows my Instastories knows that I am in a love relationship with various podcasts. As soon as I leave the apartment it's: earphones are on, Spotify or Acast on and off I go. Whereby... even if I move around in the apartment, for example cleaning up or cooking, I wear my earphones. None of that was the case in the past. I was always annoyed by the headphone cable, in which I got tangled up all the time, and then tore some of the earphones out. Ergo: I just didn't hear any podcasts (or music) when I was out and about. What has changed? I am now the proud owner of Bluetooth headphones. I can call the "Momentum True Wireless" from SENNHEISER my own. SENNHEISER's audiophile driver technology guarantees superior stereo sound at all times, while advanced Qualcomm apt-X low-latency support allows me to experience media with real-time audio. 

Once connected, the intuitive touch interface lets me tap to control my podcasts/music, answer calls, or call Google Assitent. 

The battery performance is also relevant for me, because I have no benefit from Bluetooth headphones that needs to be recharged after just 30 minutes. Been there, done that. The "Momentum True Wireless" runs 4h and can be recharged 2x in the case on the way. In short: With one battery charge I get 12 hours of listening pleasure. Wer meine Instastories verfolgt weiß, dass ich in einer Liebesbeziehung mit diversen Podcasts bin. Sobald ich die Wohnung verlasse heisst es: Kopfhörer auf, Spotify oder Acast an und los geht's. Wobei... auch wen ich mich in der Wohnung bewege, zum Beispiel aufräume oder koche habe ich in letzter Zeit immer öfters Kopfhörer im Ohr, weil ich mich so einfach noch mehr auf die Inhalte von Podcasts konzentrieren kann. Das war früher alles nicht der Fall. Ich war immer genervt vom Kopfhörerkabel, in dem ich mich ständig verheddert, und mir dann teilweise die Kopfhörer aus dem Ohr gerissen habe. Ergo: Ich habe einfach keine Podcasts (oder Musik) gehört, wenn ich unterwegs war. Was sich geändert hat? Ich bin jetzt stolze Besitzerin von Bluetooth-Kopfhörern. Und zwar darf ich die "Momentum True Wireless" von SENNHEISER mein Eigen nennen. Die audiophile Treiber-Technologie von SENNHEISER garantiert dabei jederzeit überlegenen Stereoklang, während ich dank fortschrittlicher Qualcomm apt-X Low Latency-Unterstützung Medien mit Echtzeit-Audio erleben kann.

Relevant für mich ist auch die Akkuleistung, denn von Bluetooth-Kopfhörern, die nach 30 Minuten leer sind, hab ich nichts. Been there, done that. Die "Momentum True Wireless" laufen 4h und lassen sich unterwegs noch 2x im Case aufladen. Kurz: Mit einer Akkuladung komme ich in einen 12-stündigen Hörgenuss.
