THINGS: MY WEDDING MAKEUP BY BOBBI BROWN

So there they were, all the questions that keep you busy in the time of wedding preparations: Where do we want to get married? Who do I want to celebrate this day with? What should the printed materials look like? And how the decoration on site? ... And then there were the questions "Who will do my hair because I'm marrying my hairdresser? (Spoiler: He (propaganda-haare.com) did... But it took me quite a long time to get used to the idea) and who will do my make-up? The second question was easy to answer. After wearing natural makeup in everyday life where BOBBI BROWN exactly fulfills my requirements, I also wanted a natural, type-appropriate make-up for my wedding... just a little more beautiful and professional.

Da waren sie also all die Fragen, die einem in der Zeit der Hochzeitsvorbereitungen auf Trab halten: Wo möchten wir heiraten? Mit wem möchte ich diesen Tag gemeinsam feiern? Wie sollen die Drucksorten aussehen? Und wie die Deko vor Ort? ... Und dann waren da noch die Fragen "Wer macht mir meine Haare, nachdem ich meinen Frisör heirate? (Spoiler: Er (propaganda-haare.com) hat sie mir gemacht... ich habe allerdings ganz schön lange gebraucht, bis ich mich mit dem Gedanken anfreunden konnte.) und wer macht mein Make-up? Die zweite Frage war einfach zu beantworten. Nachdem ich im Alltag auf natürliches Make-up schwöre und BOBBI BROWN hier genau meine Anforderungen erfüllt, wollte ich auch bei meiner Hochzeit ein natürliches, typgerechtes Make-up... nur eben ein bisschen schöner und professioneller gemacht.

BOBBI BROWN verfügt über ein internationales Artist-Pool und ist zudem eine Amerikanische Brand - war also klar, dass ich meine Anfrage hinsichtlich Make-up Artist für meine Hochzeit in Kalifornien einfach mal an BOBBI BROWN stelle. Mit Erfolg!

I got the trial makeup in the store in Vienna, where the final look and the products used for it were entered into a stylesheet, which was then sent to Samantha, the make-up artist in California. Even though I didn't know Samantha and her work before, I always had a deep confidence that nothing could go wrong. Rightly so. Samantha came to the hotel on the wedding day, was well prepared, incredibly sympathetic and did the perfect makeup for me within only one hour.

Das Probe-Make-up habe ich im Store in Wien bekommen, wo der finale Look und die dafür verwendeten Produkte in ein Stylesheet eingetragen wurden, das dann Samantha, der Make-up-Artistin in Kalifornien, übermittelt wurde. Auch wenn ich Samantha und ihre Arbeit davor noch nicht kannte, hatte ich die ganze Zeit über das tiefe Vertrauen, dass beim Make-up nichts schief laufen kann. Zu Recht. Samantha kam am Hochzeitstag ins Hotel, war bestens vorbereitet, unheimlich symphatisch und hat mir innerhalb nur einer Stunde das für mich perfekte Make-up gemacht.
