CHRISTMAS CAME EARLY. AGAIN.

Just a few years ago I often had the Christmas presents already in October. Times have changed - I'm now a last-minute gift-gatherer. But that doesn't mean I don't worry about what I put under the Christmas tree. Basically, I like to give things that I would be happy about myself. Quite often beauty products come into play because both my mum and my friends are very beauty affine and love to discover new products (for themselves). My path then always leads me to DOUGLAS, where I find all my favorite brands such as Jo Malone, Bobbi Brown and bareMinerals under one roof. I would like to show you three of my Christmas gift favorites today.

Firstly, there is the Eau de Cologne "Lime Basil and Mandarine" by Jo Malone. With Jo Malone, I'm always spoilt for choice because every fragrance is an olfactory sensation. In "Lime Basil and Mandarin", peppery basil and aromatic white thyme give the scent of lime a surprising twist

Another all-time favorite product is Bobbi Brown's' Crushed Lip Color Lipstick'. Long-lasting, nourishing and enriched with intensive pigments, the lipstick - by the way in every color - creates the perfect look. In the winter months I like dark, rich red tones, which is why I plead for the color "cherry".

Noch vor ein paar Jahren hatte ich nicht selten die Weihnachtsgeschenke schon im Oktober. Die Zeiten haben sich geändert - mittlerweile gehöre ich zur Sorte „Geschenke in letzter Minute besorgen". Das bedeutet aber nicht, dass ich mir keine Gedanken darüber mache, was ich unter den Christbaum lege. Grundsätzlich schenke ich gerne Dinge, über die ich mich selbst auch freuen würde. Zum einen wäre da das Eau de Cologne „Lime Basil and Mandarine" von Jo Malone. Bei Jo Malone habe ich tatsächlich immer die Qual der Wahl, weil wirklich jeder Duft eine olfaktorische Sensation ist. Bei "Lime Basil und Mandarine" verleihen pfeffriges Basilikum und aromatischer weißer Thymian dem Duft von Limetten einen überraschenden Twist. 

Ein anderes all-time-favorite-Produkt der 'Crushed Lip Color Lippenstift' von Bobbi Brown.

Langanhaltend, pflegend und mit intensiven Pigmenten angereichert zaubert der Lippenstift - übrigens in jeder Farbe - den perfekten Look. In den Wintermonaten mag ich dunkle, satte Rottöne, weshalb ich hier für die Farbe „Cherry" plädiere.

JUST ANOTHER OUTFIT POST

Initially, this post was supposed to be about my new 'LouLou 95' suede boots by SAINT LAURENT I bought right in time for the colder days. Of course, I did some research regarding other (meaning more affordable) boots and I tried on a lot of alternatives but at the end (unfortunately) it turned out that these boots are perfect for me and that there just isn't an alternative. I like the cut and even though the heel is 9,5 cm they are really comfortable and I can easily walk the whole day in them. 

A few weeks back I was in Berlin where I also got myself a silk top by  ANINE BING and a pair of perfectly shaped black jeans (they claim that the color does not fade over time) by SAMSOE SAMSOE. Combined with my - still - favorite blazer by Zara and my beloved  "Lexi Bag" by AIGNER I suddenly had a new favorite outfit I'd like to share with you here and now - and I hope you like it too and it is kind of an inspiration for you.

Ursprünglich sollte dieser Beitrag nur von den Boots 'LouLou 95' aus Wildleder von SAINT LAURENT handeln, die ich mir rechtzeitig für die kalten Tage zugelegt habe. Ich habe intensiv recherchiert und unzählige andere Modelle anprobiert, aber (leider) hat sich (mal wieder) herausgestellt,  dass es die für mich perfekten Boots nur bei SAINT LAURENT gibt. Der Schnitt ist perfekt, und trotz einer Absatzöhe von 9,5 cm sind sie irre bequem und ich kann darin locker einen ganzen Tag durch die Stadt laufen. Bei meinem Berlin-Besuch, vor ein paar Wochen, habe ich mir dann auch noch ein Seidentop von ANINE BING und perfekt sitzende, schwarze Jeans, deren Farbe sich angeblich nicht auswäscht, von SAMSOE SAMSOE gegönnt. Zusammen mit meinem - nach wie vor - Lieblingsblazer von Zara und der von mir geherzten "Lexi Bag" von AIGNER hatte ich plötzlich ein neues Lieblingsoutfit, das ich hier mit euch teilen möchte - in der Hoffnung, dass es euch ebenfalls gefällt und für die eine odere andere sogar als Ispirationsquelle dient.

THINGS TIP: URBAN MASSAGE

I spend a lot of time in front of the computer which is why I have a lot of tensions in my neck and shoulder. Actually, I don't really know how it feels if these tensions are gone. It would be so easy to get rid of them though because massages on a regular basis would help a lot. But there is the time problem. As always. When I include getting there and getting back home it takes a minimum of two hours. Two hours I'm missing from meeting friends, watching TV shows (I'm an addict) and working out.

Nachdem ich - beruflich bedingt - den ganzen Tag vorm Computer verbringe und auch in meiner Freizeit nicht selten das selbe tue, kämpfe ich so gut wie permanent mit Verspannungen. Besonders stark spür' ich das im rechten Schulter- und Nackenbereich. Ich kenne den Zustand ohne diese Verspannungen schon gar nicht mehr.
