WUNDERDING DER TECHNIK

Saugroboter '360 Eye™' von Dyson. Erhältlich ab 2015 im Fachhandel.

Angetrieben von dem energieeffizienten, digitalen Dyson Motor V2 setzt der 'Dyson 360 Eye™' auf die Root Cyclone™ Technologie zur effizienten Trennung von Staub und Schmutz, mit deren Hilfe Partikel bis zu einer Größe von 0,5 Mikrometer aufgenommen werden – 600 Mal kleiner als der Punkt am Ende dieses Satzes. Er reinigt besser als jeder andere Roboter-Staubsauger bei der Erstanwendung. 

Der 'Dyson 360 Eye™' erkennt seine Umgebung mithilfe eines einzigartigen 360° Vision Systems, entwirft anschließend einen detaillierten Grundrissplan zur intelligenten und systematischen Navigation und protokolliert seine Position. Infrarotsensoren arbeiten zusammen mit einem Objektiv oben auf dem Gerät, das eine 360°-Panoramakamera beinhaltet. Die Kamera erkennt den gesamten Raum gleichzeitig, so dass der Staubsauger seine Position triangulieren kann. Das Gerät verwendet anschließend Orientierungspunkte innerhalb der Aufnahmen, um zu ermitteln, wie es sich zwischen den Einzelbildern bewegt hat und aktualisiert das Umgebungsmodell entsprechend. 

Die Elektrobürste des '360 Eye™' verläuft über die volle Breite des Geräts und verlässt sich daher nicht auf Kehrvorrichtungen an der Seite, um die Ecken und Kanten eines Raumes zu reinigen. Sie verwendet die patentierte Carbonfaser-Technologie zur Entfernung von Feinstaub auf Hartböden und steife Nylonborsten zum Aufbürsten und Reinigen von Teppichböden. 

Ähnlich wie bei einem Geländefahrzeug ermöglicht der Kettenantrieb des 'Dyson 360 Eye™', die Geschwindigkeit und Richtung auf allen Untergrundtypen beizubehalten und kleine Hindernisse zu überwinden.

Powered by the energy efficient V2 Dyson digital motor, the Dyson 360 Eye™ vacuum uses Radial Root Cyclone™ technology to effectively separate dust and dirt, capturing particles down to 0.5 microns – 600 times smaller than the dot at the end of this sentence. Dyson 360 Eye™ vacuum cleans better than any other robot vacuum cleaner first time around.
The Dyson 360 Eye™ vacuum sees its environment using a unique 360° vision system, and then builds a detailed floor plan to intelligently and systematically navigate around a room and tracks its position. Infrared sensors work in conjunction with a lens on the top of the machine that houses a 360° panoramic camera. The camera can see all around the room at once so the machine can accurately triangulate its position. It then uses landmarks within the images to establish how it has moved between each frame and update its model of the environment accordingly.
The brush bar on the Dyson 360 Eye™ vacuum cleaner extends to the full width of the machine, meaning that it doesn’t rely on side sweepers to reach the edges of the room. It uses patented carbon fibre brush bar technology to remove fine dust on hard floors, and stiff nylon bristles to agitate and clean carpets.
Like an all-terrain vehicle, continuous tank tracks enable the Dyson 360 Eye™ robot vacuum to maintain speed and direction across all floor types, and over small obstacles.
