"Back to the roots" is the credo of Kiehl's when it comes to the new apothecary preparations. A few weeks ago I visited the Kiehl's store where I had an extensive consultation and diagnosis by a Kiehl's Customer Representative, who ascertained my individual skin needs and put together a personalized serum. And guess what. I wouldn't want to miss it in my skin care routine anymore. 

Each Apothecary Preparation consists of three components: the Skin Strenghtening Concentrate as base and two individual Targeted Complexes which are directed to solve two individual skin problems. In my case those problems are fine lines and wrinkles as well as a not so smooth complexion. But if you have troubles with redness, large pores or a pallid skin tone there is help on the way as well.

The Skin Strengthening Concentrate consists of concentrated  squalan (35%) and a skin lipid complex (20%), which is responsible for hydrating and strengthening the skin to protect its natural barrier function.

When you blend the  Targeted Complexes with the concentrate you will hold a real panacea in your hands.

I'm using the serum for approximately five weeks and can already see a real difference: my complexion is more smooth, fine lines are vanished and after cleaning my skin it dosen't feel dry anymore.

To perfect the personalization the concentrate comes with a label with necessary information like my name, the store where the consultation took place, the code for the Targeted Complexes which you only have to tell the store if you need a refill, the date and the name of the Kiehl's Costumer Representative. 

It comes in a box - with the label too - in which you'll find the concentrate and the complexes which are supposed to be blended prior your first usage.

Mit diesen neuen Apotheken-Präparaten kehrt Kiehl's zu seinen Wurzeln zurück. Vor ein paar Wochen war ich im Kiehl's Store wo, nach einer ausgiebigen Konsultation und Diagnose durch einen Kiehl's Customer Representative, meine individuellen Haut-Bedürfnisse festgestellt und ein darauf abgestimmtes, personalisiertes Serum zusammengestellt wurde, das ich in meiner Pflegeroutine nicht mehr missen möchte. 

Jede Apothecary Preparation besteht aus drei Komponenten: Aus der Basis, dem Skin Strenghtening Concentrate, sowie zwei individuell dazu ausgewählten, gezielt wirkenden Targeted Complexes. 

Die beiden zielen darauf ab, zwei individuelle Hautprobleme zu lösen. Bei mir stehen da die ersten sich abzeichnenden Fältchen und ein nicht ganz so ebenmäßiges Hautbild im Fokus. Rötungen, erweiterte Poren oder ein fahler Teint können aber ebenso bekämpft werden. 

Das Skin Strengthening Concentrate besteht zu 35% aus konzentriertem Squalan und zu 20% aus dem Skin Lipid Complex, der die Haut hydratisiert, kräftigt und ihre natürliche Barrierefunktion schützt. 

Mischt man dazu die Targeted Complexes hält man ein wahrliches Wundermittel in Händen. 

Ich verwende das Serum nun schon seit ungefähr fünf Wochen und kann einen deutlichen Unterschied ausmachen: Mein Hautbild wirkt feiner, kleine Fältchen sind kaum noch sichtbar und nach der Reinigung spannt meine Haut auch nicht mehr, was ich auf eine ideale Hydration zurückführe. 

Um die Personalisierung zu perfektionieren wurde das Concentrate Fläschchen mit einem Etikett versehen, auf denen alle notwendigen Informationen zu finden sind: Mein Name, die Filiale in der die Konsultation stattgefunden hat, ein Code für die Targeted Complexes, den man nur nennen muss, wenn man ein Refill benötigt, das Datum sowie der Name des Kiehl's Costumer Representative. 

Das ganze wird in einer hübschen Box, die ebenfalls mit dem Etikett versehen ist, überreicht die das Concentrate und die Targeted Complexes enthält, die man zuhause, vor der erste Anwendung selbst dem Serum hinzufügt.

Pinterest ist großartig, aber manchmal brauche ich mein Pinboard haptisch vor mir. Wie gut, dass ferm Living 'Frame' jetzt auch noch größer als bisher anbietet. So habe ich meine ganzen Inspirationen übersichtlich direkt vor mir.

At COMING SOON I spotted the label AYTM and asked myself immediately how it was possible to not know it. 

They have so many interior accessories which took my heart by storm. So it is kind of clear that you will see some more pieces of it here on the blog in the near future.  This tray with the inserts available in various colors is the prelude. Isn't ist so very beautiful?

Ich habe bei COMING SOON das Label AYTM entdeckt und habe mich sofort gefragt, warum ich es bis dato noch nicht kannte. 

So viele Interior-Accessoires die mein Herz im Sturm erobert haben. Ihr werdet demnach künftig sicherlich noch öfters von der Marke hier entdecken. Den Auftakt macht hier aber mal dieser Tray mit den Einsätzen, die es in unterschiedlichen Farben gibt. Ist der nicht wunderschön? 

THE WHOLE WORLD OF SPICES

I was looking for organic spices which are kind of fancy and - on top - sustainably produced. So I stumbled upon the website of Pfeffersack & Söhne. The choice is  huge and in the end I not only found various kinds of salt like  "Murray River Salt", "Utah Sweet Salt" and "Blausalz" in my shopping basket but also "Rod Pepper" and "Hyssop". (Don't ask me what I'm gonna do with the latter one, but I'm positive I will implement it in my cooking somehow.)
The spices are sold in super beautiful  stoneware with cork lids. I also purchased some empty stoneware containers for my spices I already have at home. But believe me, choosing the color wasn't an easy task because one is prettier than the other one. But in the end I went for the classic and timeless white  and the pretty pink.

Salz in verschiedensten, ausgefallenen Sorten von PFEFFERSACK & SÖHNE. 

Auf der Suche nach ausgefallenen Gewürzen, die noch dazu nachhaltig produziert werden und - zumindest zu einem Großteil - bio sind, bin ich auf Pfeffersack & Söhne gestoßen. Die Auswahl ist enorm und am Ende haben nicht nur verschiedene Salze wie das "Murray River Salt", das "Utah Sweet Salt" und das "Blausalz" , sondern auch "Stangenpfeffer" und "Ysopkraut" in meinen Einkaufskorb gewandert. 
Die Gewürze selbst kommen in wunderschönen Steinzeug mit Korkdeckel. Für meine Gewürze, die ich bereits habe, habe ich noch zusätzlich ein paar Behältnisse geshoppt. Bei den vielen hübschen Farben war die Wahl eine Qual. Am Ende haben das klassische und zeitlose weiß und das wunderhübsche rosa gesiegt.

The ingredients are not only organic but the entrepreneurs know all of their suppliers personally, the agents are perfect for baby's delicate skin and the recipes are developed with a well-known biochemist and aromatheraphist. Thus there are only the best things in the products  smelling so unbelievably good -  which is important since we are talking about babycare where bad additives have no place in it.

I'm curious so - of course - I tried all products myself. I use the oil not only as a lotion after shower but I put a little bit of it in the tub when having a bath. It makes my skin supersoft and the subtle scent is a great companion.

Speaking of scent: The pillow & linen spray is probably my favorite product. I  put a scent on my pillow every night for like forever. But this one kills it. I guess I can honestly say, that it is my favorite pillow mist. And knowing that I don't inhale toxic scents while sleeping gives me a really good feeling.

The balm is great when I don't want to use the oil which takes a little bit longer to get into your skin (when I'm in a rush and need to get into my outfit of the day). I also find it great to pamper dry body parts like elbows or feet with it.

Bio-zertifizierte Babypflege (Öl, Balsam und Body & Linen Spray) von ALMA. 

In einer kleinen Manufaktur im 2. Wiener Gemeindebezirk werden die Produkte von Alma mit ganz viel Liebe hergestellt. Die Zutaten sind nich nur bio-zertifiziert, die Köpfe hinter Alma kennen ihre Lieferanten alle persönlich, die Wirkstoffe sind auf die empfindliche Babyhaut abgestimmt und die Rezepturen wurden zusammen mit einer renommierten Biochemikerin und Aromatherapeutin entwickelt. In die Produkte, die so unglaublich wunderbar riechen, kommt also nur das Beste. Das ist auch wichtig, denn schließlich reden wir hier von Babypflege und Chemie hat hier mal gar nichts verloren.

▼ Das Pflegeöl enthält die milden Öle von Mohn, Aprikosen- und Avocadokernen, die die zarte Haut schützen, Extrakte der Calendulablütenblätter wirken beruhigend und beugen Hautreizungen vor. Auch hier sorgen naturreine ätherische Öle aus Rosengeranie, Mandarine, Benzoe und Atlas Zeder für den angenehmen Duft.

▼  Beim Spray trifft wertvolles Orangenblütenwasse auf die ätherischen Öle von Rosengeranie, Mandarine, Benzoe und Altas Zeder – die Mischung wirkt beruhigend und vermittelt Geborgenheit.

Weil ich neugierig bin, habe ich  - natürlich - alle drei Produkte getestet. Das Öl verwende ich nicht nur als Bodylotionersatz nach der Dusche, ich gebe auch gerne ein paar Tropfen davon in die Badewanne. Die Haut wird superweich und der subtile Duft ist ein wunderbarer Begleiter. 
Apropos Duft: Das Pillow & Linen Spray ist vermutlich mein Lieblingsprodukt. Ich gebe schon seit Jahren jeden Abend einen Spritzer Pillowmist auf meinen Polster. Aber dieser hier stellt sie alle in den Schatten. Ich glaube ich kann an dieser Stelle ohne schlechtem Gewissen sagen, dass das mein neuer Lieblings-Pillowmist ist. Und zu wissen, dass man während des schlafes keine toxischen Stoffe inhaliert, gibt mir ein sehr gutes Gefühl.

Der Balsam ist großartig, wenn ich das Öl nicht verwenden möchte, weil es  zu langsam einzieht (wenn ich es mal eilig habe und schnell ins Outfit of the Day springen muss). Außerdem ist er perfekt um raue Stellen wie Ellenbogen oder Fersen zu pflegen. Der Balsam sagt ihnen den Kampf an.
